Exponent Rules

These problems test basic exponent rules:

• Product Rule: $x^a \cdot x^b = x^{a+b}$
• Quotient Rule: $x^a / x^b = x^{a-b}$
• Power Rule: $(x^a)^b = x^{ab}$

For example, if $3^x = 70.1$, then $3^{x+2} = 3^x \cdot 3^2 = 70.1 \cdot 9 = 630.9$.
